Colin Shorb
Ambassador
Meet Colin - a longtime friend of Declan's since first grade at Mater Dei, where the two grew up playing baseball, soccer, flag football, and hitting the ski slopes together. As the oldest of two, with a younger brother, Colin has natural leadership in his DNA. Baseball is his primary sport, and last year at Gonzaga he stepped up to take on a manager role for the Freshman Football team - exactly the kind of jump-in-and-help attitude that defines him. Tennis may not be his main sport, but he's always one of the first to lend a hand.
Service has been part of Colin's life for years. From the Mater Dei Thanksgiving drive with classmates to working with local food banks and homeless shelters, he has consistently given back through his school and community, guided by parents who are themselves involved in charitable work. Patient, kind, and great with younger kids, Colin is the kind of natural mentor Love 15 was built for.
In his own words: "To me, Love 15 is about more than tennis - it's about creating opportunities for young people to learn, lead, and believe in themselves. I like encouraging young athletes and helping to create an environment where everyone feels motivated to grow."
As an Ambassador for Gonzaga, Colin is excited to help spread the Love 15 mission through his school community and to help create opportunities for the next generation of young athletes.
